Champion for Children Award

David and Brittany were asked to speak at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital Family Partners Council Meeting on November 10th, 2015 and at Le Bonheur's Town Hall on November 11th, 2015.

After they told the story of Forrest and the Forrest Spence Fund, the Fund was presented with the Champion for Children Award - an advocacy award given on a merit basis for extremely noteworthy non-profits in our community.

The Forrest Spence Fund was the second recipient of this accolade. This award was kept a secret from David and Brittany and they were surprised with the award on November 10th and then recognized again on November 11th at Town Hall. Their family was informed of the award so were at the presentation at Town Hall.
