Forrest Future Leaders: 60 Days of Service is a 60-day student-led fundraising and service challenge benefiting the Forrest Spence Fund. Students will compete on teams to earn points not only through creative fundraising efforts but also by directly serving and seeing the impact of the families their fundraising supports. The program blends leadership, philanthropy, and meaningful service into one powerful experience.

Students may apply to participate in one of two roles:

Team Leader (Rising Sophomores & Rising Juniors Only)
Selected team leaders will oversee the planning, promotion, and execution of their team’s fundraising efforts. They are responsible for organizing communication, ensuring deadlines are met, and holding team members accountable to participation and point minimums. Because of the additional responsibility, team leaders will have a higher individual point requirement.

Team Member (Rising Sophomores, Rising Juniors & Rising Seniors)
Team members will collaborate to support their team leader in executing fundraising initiatives, meeting individual point goals, and contributing to the overall success of the team.

Team leaders and team members will be selected and assembled prior to the start of summer. Throughout the summer months, team leaders will work with their teams to develop a fundraising plan, set goals, and schedule approved fundraising initiatives to be carried out during the official 60-day campaign period.

Applications will be open April 1st - May 1st. Team leaders will be selected and assigned team members by May 15th.

The campaign will begin Monday, August 3rd, and conclude Thursday, October 1st. All fundraising activities must take place within this designated timeframe.

At the end of the challenge, the team earning the highest total points and the team leader with the highest individual point total will be awarded and formally announced at the Forrest Spence Fund Annual Auction on October 23rd. They will also be presented with a commemorative plaque that will remain displayed in the Forrest Spence Fund office in recognition of their achievement.
