Food insecurity is a real issue for families who are experiencing a long hospital stay. Caregivers often sacrifice their own food in order to make sure the child and/or other children are taken care of first. The Forrest Spence Fund supports families by sponsoring meal vouchers within many of the hospitals we serve. We provide meal vouchers and/or food gift cards so families can have a way to purchase food for themselves.

The meal voucher program is currently at the following hospitals:

Le Bonheur Children's Hospital

Children’s Hospital at Erlanger

Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville
