72. Jane Thompson - Staff Member
A lifelong nurse, Jane is a graduate of the Methodist Hospital School of Nursing and has served in clinical nursing with Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare since 1979. She worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Methodist University until the unit closed in 2004, and then transferred to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital to help staff the hospital’s newly opened, six-bed NICU. During her tenure in the LeBonheur NICU, Jane saw the unit grow from six beds to 60 in fewer than seven years. In 2017, Jane became the program manager for Lebonheur’s Maternal Fetal Center, which provides coordination of care for expectant mothers whose babies are diagnosed in utero with a congenital anomaly. Annually, Jane and LeBonheur’s Maternal Fetal Medicine Team provide care for over 150 moms in the tri-state area.
