77. Jan Hill - Staff Member
Dr. Jan Hill is a graduate of Jackson State University, University of Mississippi Medical Center, and LeMoyne-Owen College. Dr. Hill is an interdisciplinarian holding academic degrees in Sociology, Health Administration, and Urban Higher Education Administration. Dr. Hill is a servant leader with a passion for improving the health and well-being of marginalized populations. Dr. Hill serves on numerous boards and organizations in the Memphis community including, Shelby County Schools HIV Prevention and Education Committee, Tennessee Sexual Assault Safe Bar Committee, and the Opioid Education and Prevention Task Force in Shelby County, Tennessee. Dr. Hill holds an appointment as an assistant professor of Health Administration and Public Health at Baptist Health Sciences University. Dr. Hill’s teaching experience includes courses taught in leadership and management of healthcare organizations, the delivery of health care in the U.S., health communications and media relations, social and behavioral determinants of health, public health program planning, and sexual risk avoidance education. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her adult son, Remyton Hill and two fur babies, Jersey and Nala.
