109. Alyssa O’Doherty - A Family Story
Alyssa O’Doherty is a native Memphian, who now resides in Arlington, VA with her husband Dillon and children, Mollie and Bennett. She began her career at LeBonheur Children's Hospital as a NICU dietitian, and has now been practicing for over 10 years and currently works at Children’s National in Washington,D.C. In 2023, when Alyssa was ~11 weeks pregnant, they learned their daughter had Trisomy 13. When Annie was born in April 2024, their family was able to spend around 3 hours loving on her, before she went to be with Jesus. The O’Doherty family has had the honor to work alongside the Forrest Spence fund the last 2 years to continue to honor Annie.
