38. Rebekah Byrd - A Family Story
Rebekah Byrd lives in Saltillo, MS with her husband, Justin, and their four children. She is a stay-at-home mother, who homeschools their girls and cares for their special needs son, Joshua. During her pregnancy with Joshua, it was discovered he had a very rare occipital encephalocele, and she was seen by LeBonheur’s Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist. Joshua was born in December of 2013 and taken to LeBonheur NICU. He underwent his first of many surgeries at three days old and nine years later is still receiving care from multiple LeBonheur specialists.
