48. Christine Shull - A Family Story
Christine and Casey Shull live in Harrison, TN just outside of Chattanooga and have been married for five years. In 2022, they grew their family by welcoming their first daughter, Sunshine, who was born at 25 weeks gestation weighing 1lb 12oz. Sunny stayed in the NICU at Children's Hospital at Erlanger for the first 86 days of her life while she received excellent care from Erlanger's specialists and wowed doctors and nurses alike with her progress. She was released from the hospital on supplemental oxygen on Easter weekend and got to go home to finally meet her grandparents and older brother Elijah. She continues to see Erlanger's specialists at the Kennedy Outpatient Center to monitor her broncopulmonary dysplasia and her development. Today she is a thriving toddler who loves stirring up trouble with her little brother and partner in crime Buckley, who was born 11 months after her dramatic entrance into the world.
