99. Brittany Barnett - Staff Member
Brittany Barnett, is the manager of Patient Family-Centered Care (PFCC) which runs out of the Family, Guest and Volunteer Services Department at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. She partners with caregivers, past patients, staff and clinicians to ensure the family voice is well represented throughout the institution, working to make the patient experience the best it can be.
The PFCC department recruits, onboards and trains caregivers to not only provide their feedback and perspective to staff but also to support other caregivers during their St. Jude journey. The Virtual Advisory Council, Mentor Program, PFAC and 11 steering councils all make up many of the ways that caregivers are engaged.
Brittany holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Christian Brother's University and a master's degree from The University of Memphis in clinical mental health counseling. Brittany is a native Memphian who began her career at Le Bonheur for nearly 5 years as a volunteer coordinator before making switch 12 years ago to St. Jude. When not at work, she is spending time with her husband, Justin, and their 4 busy kids, Will (7), Ann Louise (6), Sam (4) and James (2).
